“Sing while you may” 

Beneath the scorching sun of the Alentejo plains lies a well-known secret that many would rather forget: A chapel in Évora, built by three monks, proudly displays five thousand human bones — bones like our own, and like those we will one day become. "Life is short, a brief passage," the bones seem to whisper. "Then let’s make it richer every day," we ought to reply.

This T-shirt illustration for CottonCity is inspired by the eerie beauty of the Chapel of Bones in Évora. Embracing its bizarre story, I created vibrant, singing skulls — full of joy and irreverence — a playful contrast to the solemnity of their fate. Each T-shirt features four colorful skull felt patches, each one unique.
