VISUAL IDENTITY —
CIG´S 40th ANNIVERSARY
The Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality - CIG - is the Portuguese body responsible for the promotion and defense of this principle, seeking to respond to the deep social and political changes of society in terms of citizenship and gender equality. I am thrilled to do projects with social responsability and to participate in a feminist project like this one and defend human rights!
I developed CIG's 40th anniversary logo and design communication based on a concept of power, positivism and evolution. I wanted to give this cause a modern image that would stand out. In the logo I used the metaphor of the evolution of equality represented by the stairs - "step by step to the future" - and the equality symbol, through forms that build the number itself and for the graphic universe I design a set of other symbols related to statistics and analytics.
